About Home-Start Essex
Home-Start Essex aims to give children the best possible start in life by supporting parents and caregivers to feel less isolated, to build their confidence in themselves and their parenting and to find ways to manage the challenges they face. We build trusting, helpful relationships with families and deliver a range of flexible support to meet their individual needs. All our services are based around the principle that we offer no judgement, just compassionate, confidential* & helpful support.
*excluding exceptional circumstances when there are safety concerns for an individual, which will result in our team following our Safeguarding Policy.
Who we support
We help families from all backgrounds, with at least one child aged 0-11. We support families across Mid, South & West Essex. More information on the geographical areas we cover can be found here: Get Support
